Many parents make generalizations towards mathematics, and believe that it is difficult, incomprehensible, and just plain chaos to teach at home. In reality, it is not. If parents first develop a love for mathematics, and explore the ways in which mathematics is used in our everyday lives, then and only then, would children develop a love for mathematics, and appreciate the value of it. Mathematics is unavoidable. We must teach our children to love mathematics, and understand its value.
