Long Division- post 1 out of 5

All you need to know for parents and guardians!! 

For many persons long division is tedious, even for me as a child growing up I despised long division. It was only until I began my Mathematics Elective course and did other Mathematics teaching courses during my bachelor of education degree, I realised how much I was robbed of as a child in primary school. Long division could have been so much more fun, if only my teacher or parents used the methods I was introduced to during my teacher training. 

Always remember math can be fun! It all depends on the teacher!

During the course of my next four blogs we will be exploring long division. We will look at ways in which we can teach long division to our kids at home, the process of teaching long division, and websites that can aid in improving your child's long division skills.
